Living with pain is something Margaret knows about first hand. After being in a car accident in her early 20’s she lived with pain for many years. Trying many different therapies to help. Ultimately it was a combination of therapies that helped. Self Confidence
Self confidence can sometimes feel like a mythical unicorn. Some people seem to know how to get it, but for us mere mortals – it is an impossible quest to achieve.
Take a look at the picture on the left. This could be from a social media post where Margaret is talking about a huge achievement for her – and it was. She was commissioned to write and present a course to be filmed by a camera crew. It was huge for her. What is actually going on is Margaret is so far out of her comfort zone she cannot even see it anymore. It was terrifying. But she was there and she did it! Why was it so scary? Margaret used to suffer from very low self confidence. So, the idea of writing a course for someone else, let alone standing in front of the camera to present it would never have happened. She would have not believed in herself and turned the offer down. Walked away, feeling like an opportunity was missed, that she was just not good enough. She would have believed she would have let them down and herself down if she had taken it. So why did she take it? Because over the years Margaret has worked on herself using hypnosis, Emotional freedom Technique, visualisations and mindfulness to improve her self confidence. So when asked “Would you write us a course and present it on camera?” her answer was “Yes!!” It was still scary, but she knew she was good enough and could do it. Now Margaret helps others improve their self confidence. Allowing them to achieve their goals and dreams.
